Altec Learned and Networked at the 2018 Acumatica Summit
Earlier this year Altec participated in the 2018 Acumatica Summit in Nashville, and what a great event it was with excellent keynotes, sessions, networking events and of course, celebrating Acumatica’s 10th year anniversary with Nashville’s finest food and entertainment! Adjacent to the Country Music Hall of Fame, attendees were also able to visit the museum during the evening festivities.
Acumatica’s Keynotes provided attendees with a clear roadmap for where the company is heading. CEO Jon Roskill reviewed the past year and outlined the path ahead, highlighting exciting new product innovation happening, including product roadmaps, partnership developments, and key strategic and R&D initiatives.
As exhibitors, we showcased and demonstrated DocLink to Acumatica’s customers, prospects and partners. Our team spoke with a variety of Acumatica users who were very interested to learn about DocLink’s ability to help them digitally transform their operations, improve productivity and ultimately save their companies significant time and money. The Altec team also enjoyed many of the sessions during the event with ample learning opportunities and tracks for customers, developers, marketing, product and sales.
The closing keynote delivered by Carey Lohrenz, the first female F-14 Tomcat Fighter Pilot in the U.S. Navy, was inspirational. She was uniquely qualified to present to the audience the fundamentals of winning under pressure, reducing errors and overcoming obstacles. She shared her insights on how to build a high-performing team and develop a culture of learning, and afterwards everyone received a copy of her book Fearless Leadership: High-Performance Lessons from the Flight Deck.
Lauren Huynh, Altec’s Channel Marketing Manager said, “The Summit was extremely educational for us, providing a fantastic venue in which to meet with other partners and learn how we can work together in the future in this exciting market. I also talked with old and new users of Acumatica and saw the passion they have for this product, as also indicative of the exponential growth of their summit through the years.”
