#AltecGives Makes Significant Donations to Local Food Banks

Booker T. Washington was absolutely right when he said, “Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.” Here at Altec we are thankful for our continued success and growth as a company, and the holiday season is an important time for reflection, gratitude, and helping others.  We believe giving and sharing good fortune is so important, and we launched our #AltecGives campaign to have a focused effort on this throughout the calendar year.

During the holidays, we particularly like helping local charities to ensure others, not so fortunate in our communities, can celebrate as well.  This year our offices in both Laguna Hills, CA and Tacoma, WA created food drives, and employees jumped at the chance to contribute!

Our Tacoma team donated food items that will be delivered to the Jackson Street Food Bank, a charity near and dear to our own Ed Wolfer who spends a lot of his time there helping families.  And Laguna Hills was quite diligent in bringing in supplies for the Second Harvest Food Bank in Irvine.  Additionally, Altec has made a monetary donation to each charity to ensure that many of our local families have food on their tables.
