Customer Success Story – Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
A young electrical engineer by the name of Francis Crocker first dreamed of being able to visit the snow-capped peak of California’s Mount San Jacinto in 1935. Two wars, countless political roadblocks, and endless engineering challenges would delay the project 25+ years. But Crocker’s dream came true on September 12, 1963 with the inaugural ride of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the world’s largest rotating tram car.
Since then over 20 million people have ridden to the top of the Tramway, and increasing ridership – 50% over the past 15 years – naturally increased the company’s workload, particularly for the accounting department. The company’s implementation of DocLink was instrumental in allowing them to grow without having to add any additional staff. Check out their DocLink success story just posted to our website!
