It’s Hot This Summer! But Altec is Keeping Cool…Eating Ice Cream!

July is National Ice Cream Month and Altec takes this seriously, hosting an annual Ice Cream social!  Touted as the #1 most popular dessert in the U.S., 90% of American households eat ice cream according to icecreamhistory.net, who have compiled an interesting list of some ice cream fun facts.

Altec’s Culture Committee took suggestions from the employees for some of the nostalgic ice cream selections.  Then once the email went out that ice cream was in the house, everyone came running for this favorite treat!  We enjoyed a variety of frozen yumminess, from chocolate covered frozen bananas and Cookies n Cream Snow Storms, to other delicious ice cream bars and treats!
