We Had a Great Time at Acumatica Summit 2019!
Altec was in Houston this week exhibiting at Acumatica Summit 2019, and our team had a very busy three days! We had a great time interacting with so many Acumatica customers and partners, many of whom are very interested and excited about using DocLink with their Acumatica solution. DocLink was recently recognized as an Acumatica-Certified Application, which Altec accomplished by passing the Acumatica software test and aligning to future Acumatica roadmap releases.
Acumatica did an excellent job providing attendees with a comprehensive schedule of sessions targeted to their needs about how to get the most out of their solution, and hearing about where the company is headed was exciting. Our team not only exhibited during the conference, showcasing DocLink’s document management and process automation capabilities to attendees, but had the opportunity to attend many sessions and events, including Acumatica’s celebration party at The House of Blues Monday night!
Our Altec team was especially impressed with the keynotes that were delivered. Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill kicked off the conference sharing that Acumatica has now reached 5,200 customers, 1,200 of whom joined in 2018. Wow!
With a focus on customer success, Acumatica hit it out of the park by highlighting customers that have seen real-world benefits in both traditional business and socially conscience situations – these companies were impressive examples for excelling and using technology to change their businesses. From MiiR, a manufacturer of stainless steel drinkware with unique gift codes on each item that tracks grant-making and giving process, to bakery Nothing Bundt Cakes (we thoroughly enjoyed the bundtlets they handed out to everyone after the keynote!), and Fabuwood, one of the largest kitchen manufacturers in the U.S., attendees learned what an impact Acumatica has made on each of their businesses.
April Blankenship, Altec’s Director of Marketing commented, “Part of Jon Roskill’s keynote really resonated with our team as it perfectly mirrored what we have been saying… that making a digital transformation is an essential strategy for enabling your company to make customer service your primary focus. Jon went on to say that your business software application infrastructure needs to be at the core of your digital transformation strategy, which further emphasized the impact that Acumatica’s true cloud ERP can have on any company. It was exciting to hear about Acumatica’s focus on taking everything digital since it perfectly aligns with our strategy for helping companies connect their people, processes and data for competitive advantage. We’re thrilled to be working with them.”
The closing keynote was given by astronaut Mike Massimino who focused on leadership and passion. After this successful week, we’re definitely looking forward to next year’s event!
